NU Management is a specialist construction management consultancy operating across the food, FMCG, logistics, and industrial sectors. We deliver practical, delivery-focused management services on complex projects, with particular experience in food-grade environments. Our work also extends to associated construction works including line installations, office fit-outs, canteens, staff welfare facilities, and toilet and amenity upgrades.

NU Management provides three distinct construction management services. We deliver CDM Management for Principal Contractors, incorporating site management, project management, and day-to-day CDM compliance to ensure works are properly planned, coordinated, and carried out safely. We provide Client-Side Management, offering end-to-end project oversight from pre-construction through to handover, including budget control, specification development, designer and contractor appointment, tendering support, and programme management. We also undertake Principal Contracting, where we take responsibility for legislative compliance, programme control, and the appointment and management of specialist subcontractors.

Our experience within food-grade and critical temperature-controlled environments includes the delivery of chilled and frozen distribution centres, live food factories, and specialist production facilities where hygiene, segregation, and temperature control are paramount. This includes critical temperature-controlled distribution centres, sushi and ready-to-eat food production facilities supplying leading UK supermarkets, Marks & Spencer specification dessert factories, and bespoke salmon and seafood processing facilities serving high-end restaurants and private clients. These environments demand strict interface control, the highest quality standards, and careful planning around live operations, alongside a detailed understanding of food safety, hygiene zoning, and compliance requirements, all of which NU Management embeds within its delivery approach.
